Privacy Policy

The short version. GoldLotusBloom is a tracker you use in your own web browser. When you log a symptom, that note is saved on your device only. We never see it, never receive it, and never store it on our servers. We are Madabusi Ventures LLC, and this policy explains the few cases where we do touch your information.

What stays only on your device

Every symptom you log, every cycle date, every trigger note, and every chart you view stays in your browser's local storage on your phone or computer. If you clear your browser data, that information is gone — we cannot recover it because we never had a copy. We do not run analytics on it. We do not sell it. We do not share it.

What we do receive

1. Your name, email, and Etsy order number. When you buy GoldLotusBloom on Etsy, Etsy gives us this so we can deliver your file. We embed a watermark in your file using a code based on your order so we can prove ownership if a copy is shared without permission. We keep this purchase record for seven years for tax and accounting reasons.
2. Your browser's IP address, sent to outside services. GoldLotusBloom uses Chart.js (for graphs), jsPDF (for PDF export), and Google Fonts (for typography). When your browser loads the page, it tells these services your IP address as a normal part of the internet. We do not control what they do with it.
3. What you write to us. If you contact support, we keep your email and reply for two years.

Why we do not need your opt-in for symptom data

Several U.S. state laws require companies to get your clear consent before processing health-related information. We do not get that consent because we do not process your symptom data at all — it never leaves your device. The opt-in rules do not apply to data we do not have.

The watermark

Because the watermark embeds your name and email into a wellness product file, that combination can suggest a health topic about you. The first time you open GoldLotusBloom after purchase, we will ask you to choose: (a) full-name + email watermark, (b) name-only watermark, or (c) anonymous watermark with only a random order code. You can change this later by contacting support.

Your rights

No matter where you live, you can ask us to:

• See the information we hold about you (your purchase record, your support emails).
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your purchase record (we keep a minimum tax record only).
• Get a copy in a portable format.
• Opt out of any future profiling or targeted advertising. (We do not do these today; this right is reserved for the future.)
• Appeal if we say no to one of the above.

If you live in Texas, Oregon, Montana, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or Florida, your state law gives you these rights specifically. We honour them for everyone, regardless of state.

Children

GoldLotusBloom is for adults. We do not knowingly accept purchases from anyone under 18.

Sale and targeted ads

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not perform automated decisions that affect you.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and post the new version. For material changes that affect your rights, we will notify buyers by email.
